TOP 5

Here are the 5 must-know tenders right now.

5. Milan 🇮🇹 âœ…

In December 2023, a scooter & bike tender cut the number of operators in Milan. 3 companies were to operate 2,000 scooters each, and 5 companies were to operate 2,000 bikes each. Bolt and TIER dropped out from operating bikes, meaning that there were only around 6,000 bikes in the fleet, when the city initially wanted 10,000.

To bridge the gap, Dott, Lime & Ridemovi will now offer up to 5,000 bikes each, bringing the total max. fleet size to 15,000. The decision may have also been made in light of the recent changes to scooter legislation in Italy, which has made bikes more popular than scooters.

4. Bergamo 🇮🇹 ðŸŸ¢

Licences are up for grabs in Bergamo. The contracts of BIT Mobility and Lime - the two current operators - are expiring. With 800 vehicles on the streets, trips reached 479,034 in 2024, meaning an average TVD of 1.64 across the year.

N.B. Ridership is expected to drop in 2025 due to the Highway Code changes.
