 🙏 Voi matures with its customers

Voi’s Q4-2024 shows net revenue increased by 33% to €32.8m (vs Q4-2023).

There has been an improvement to crucial quarterly metrics such as trips per vehicle per day, revenue per vehicle per day, and vehicle profit (%), compared to 2023.

Cash flow has also significantly improved (€60.1m vs €12m), owing to some debt-draw downs and a significant improvement in operating losses.

In terms of Voi’s user base, the second-largest group is now aged 35-44, eclipsing the 18-24 group for the first time. With the shifting age profile of their users — and the needs of cities — we are seeing Voi adding more shared bikes to cater to evolving mobility needs.

 🤝 FREENOW partners with Bird

FREENOW has integrated Bird’s scooter and bikes across Italy, Spain and France.

Having been acquired by Lyft for $175m, there were question marks around whether the company would continue to strike deals on the micromobility side, or focus completely on ride-hailing and taxi services. It seems we now have our answer. Stated in the press release:

“While taxis remain at the heart of FREENOW's services, the company continues to actively seek partnerships with leading mobility providers like Bird to ensure users have access to the most comprehensive and convenient options for getting from point A to B”.
