🚲 City Dive VeloVision: Automated infrastructure assessment for cities

Fluctuo has partnered with Factual, Social Tech Projects and EIT Urban Mobility to help cities increase bike lane safety and boost cycling.

VeloVision combines comprehensive assessment methodology with Computer Vision technology to ensure greater efficiency and accuracy when giving cities recommendations.

The project is being underway in Barcelona 🇪🇸 and Sarajevo 🇧🇦, where over 100km of cycling infrastructure is being analysed.

📜 Lime fought the law, and Lime won

Bolt, Voi & Dott ranked in the top 3. Full decision available here, in Italian.

Back in December, we told you that Bolt, Voi and Dott won Milan’s scooter tender, each to operate 2,000 vehicles.

However, in a recent proceeding before the Lombardy Regional Administrative Court, Lime protested that two of the operators ranking above them operated with fleets which “lacked the characteristics for which they had obtained bonus scores”, which had thus awarded them the tender.

The court upheld Lime’s complaints, and retroactively rejected the two operators’ applications, thus placing Lime above them in the ranking. We are currently investigating the situation to find out which operators will be affected, however it looks likely that Lime will soon be reinstated.

🌩 Fluctuo takes the expo world by storm

Sebastien Marteau will be at Velo-city on the first 3 days of the conference - catch him in a panel with Cycling Industries Europe, looking at bike sharing in 2024. At 2:45pm on Tuesday 18th.

Catch Harry Maxell at MOVE London on both days at S13 in the Startup Zone!
