🚲 Hoppy launches regional scheme in Flanders

Hoppy are launching a regional bike scheme in The Netherlands.

With Flanders wanting to reduce the use of cars and improve the accessibility of cities and villages, 485 bikes across 95 stations have been launched across the Kempen region.

These the station concept, called Hoppinpunten (Hopping Points, or mobility hubs), is an initiative from the Flemish government to facilitate intermodality.

Designed to suit the longer distances typical of rural areas, these electric bikes make cycling more accessible by providing a faster, more comfortable alternative to traditional bikes.
