🇧🇪 Shared mobility in Belgium shows positive growth

Way To Go (formerly Autodelen.net) released their annual report last week, detailing figures about the evolution of shared mobility in Flanders and Belgium. Below are some findings from the report:

More than 40,000 shared vehicles were available in Belgium by the end of 2024, including 21,721 bikes and 18,764 scooters. Shared bikes and scooters racked up 24 million trips in 2024.

Over 4,600 shared cars were operating in Flanders in 2024, an 11% increase on 2023. Free-floating shared cars accounted for 40.7% of all shared cars. Furthermore, the number of car sharing users rose 22% to 46,000, and trips rose 27% to 749,000.
