📲 Europcar launches app featuring MILES and Dott

Depending on the day, journey purpose or context, shared mobility users often combine services — sometimes a shared car, other times a shared bike or e-scooter — choosing what fits best. This is why Europcar is launching a new MaaS app in Germany and Ireland.

The Europcar Mobility App combines car rental offers with other forms of mobility. The MaaS app will feature MILES Mobility’s car sharing services, and will soon include bikes and scooters from Dott.

What to expect from the app:

🚗 More than 300 Europcar stations in Germany and Ireland
🚙 Around 18,000 vehicles from MILES Mobility in 12 German cities
🛴 Approximately 75,000 e-scooters and e-bikes from Dott in more than 100 cities in Germany

 🟠 Voi’s growth powered by 45+ segment

Voi’s 2025 Global User Survey reveals that riders aged 45 and older are the company’s fastest-growing segment, now making up 25% of its customer base.

Crucially, commuting has become the primary reason people use Voi, with many riders traveling between 1 and 5km. The study shows a steady rise in weekly usage, indicating that micromobility is shifting from occasional leisure rides to regular, practical transportation.

Older riders also report replacing car trips with shared micromobility, suggesting that scooters are increasingly integrated into daily commuting routines and contributing to more sustainable urban mobility patterns.
