TOP STORIES 🔥
☀️ Bolt Launches New Solar-Powered Bike

Bolt has launched its first fully in-house designed shared bike. As reported last week, the solar-assisted, AI-enabled bike has been launched in Barcelona (ES).
The solar panel located on floor of the front basket, powering the bike’s connected systems while the vehicle is idle, easing demand on the main battery and reducing the need for battery swapping.
Perhaps these bikes will be seen before long in Liverpool (UK), where Bolt is taking over from Voi with a deployment of 2,000 scooters and 100 bikes.
Bolt reported an 8% growth in ridership in micromobility in 2025, with Belgium, Norway and Azerbaijan emerging as fastest-growing markets.
🇮🇹 Lime partners with Trenitalia

Lime has become a partner of Trenitalia’s X-GO loyalty program. It will give members of the program a 30% discount on 20 Lime rides between 15th January and 15th March 2026.
The initiative aims to promote intermodality and give members last mile solutions. Other perks of the card includes discounts to museums and transportation.
