5. Porto 🇵🇹 🟠

For a city with a population of over 200,000, it is strange that Porto does not have a bike-sharing scheme. However, transport authorities are pushing for a new system to be introduced to serve the city, integrated with the Andante ticketing system. One to watch!

4. Braunschweig 🇩🇪 ✅ 

nextbike have secured the contract of the new Veloleo bike scheme to remain in Braunschweig, a city in which they have been active since 2020. The new system was launched this month with 350 bikes across 50 stations, but will grow to the full 800 bikes and 100 stations over the coming months.
